The company Energetické opravny also provided assistance in removing the consequences of the devastating September floods in the Bohumín region. On the basis of the operator’s request, immediate service work was carried out at about 19 transfer stations, as well as directly on the premises of the Dětmarovice power plant. For early commissioning, it was necessary to pump out residual water from the stations and clean the technological units with subsequent drying. The pumps and motors from the transfer stations had to be dismantled, cleaned and reassembled after disassembly in the EO workshops. In the event of irreparable damage, individual parts or entire motors were replaced with new ones. Subsequently, reassembly and commissioning took place. All the work was carried out as soon as possible to ensure the early commissioning of the transfer stations and thus secure the heat supply to Bohumín.
